"The Doctor"

The Doctor is oil painted on a textured canvas. Varying the thinned stroke of paint with heavier ones give the piece a wide range of shapes, lines and shades.

This piece is 30" x 28" and allows the figure to fill the canvas with a sublime emotional countenance. It is an ambiguous expression that provides the viewer opportunities to imagine the story behind the face; and what a face.
