"Heaven and Earth"
(Rising and Falling)

I don't do much sculpture but that doesn't mean I don't like it. It's just too damn heavy. Of course this piece isn't that bad because it is redwood; recycled redwood.

In this piece, the towering and undulating spires illustrates a rising heaven. The negative space of the two towers allows the earth to fall.

I resqued several pieces of redwood from a sign shop dumpster and laminated them together to carve this piece.
