Arizona and New Mexico was the land of opportunity for these three
horse thieves.
Stealing in one town; gambling and drinking it all away in the next.
But Texas was another story.
They met their maker while trying to cross the Rio Grande on three
stolen horses and 50 head of cattle they
had rustled. A group of ranchers with Winchesters picked them off at
the water's edge
and retrieved their horses and cattle. They left the outlaws to the
care of the river. |
