"The Cowboy"

Tis piece is painted in oil on a textured canvas. The texture gives a leathery impression to the hat and even face of this plainsman. With the sun coming at him head on, his eyes are fixed at some unidentified visitors on the distant horizon. Or not. The story is flexible.
This is the painting that started it all. The first piece I took to the American Gallery after being led there by my mother's spirit in 1999.
This piece now resides with a great family in Toledo, Ohio.
