When I paint something of such honor it is difficult because I have a hard time feeling that I can achieve something that is worthy enough to represent it. I can not write a story stronger or more engaging than the actual life and times of these soldiers. If you take the time to research the Buffalo soldier, you will find the pride in my painting. This painting was a request by a collector of my work to be presented as a Christmas gift.
