The Men That Kilt Charlie
Sutter
Oil on Textured Canvas 50 x 38 in
They drank well in to Sunday morning before
Charlie Sutter
entered through the back of the
cantina. He cautiously approached from behind the bar and told them
that "they've had enough and it was time to close for it was now the
Lords day". They glared at Charlie and his silver star, seeming dead
of any emotion and numb to Charlie's requests. Then from under the
bar they opened fire through the wood and through glasses shelved
there. Charlie doubled over onto the bar holding on with one arm
until he slid to the floor and died. |
