Annie had three brothers and much to their chagrins, she she could
out ride and out shoot all of them.
In matters of the mind, well, she was smarter than all three
combined, but she loved them and took care
or them. I originally was going to call this painting "I love Annie"
for many a cowboy would have fallen in
love with such a prize of a gal.
This painting, along with
"That's Fer 'nough" and
"Let's Have That
Strongbox" were finalist in the
Chelsea 2009 International Fine Art Competition and were on
display at the
Agora Gallery in New York.
The competition was juried by
Ira Goldberg, Executive Director of the Art Student League, NY.
