The Peterson gang stopped the Santa Fe stage coach just outside of
town and took the payroll box. They never fired a shot. The law
searched high and low but never caught the gang, but then again,
they were looking for "three men".
This painting, along with
"That's Fer 'nough" and
"Annie" were
finalist in the
Chelsea 2009 International Fine Art Competition and were on
display at the
Agora Gallery in New York.
The competition was juried by
Ira Goldberg, Executive Director of the Art Student League, NY.
